So, last night I spent several hours trying to polish my nails. I was having some issues, I guess we could compare it to writer's block, or just a plain ol' brain fart! I tried so many different styles, and hated them all! I ended up going out with bare nails (Which, might be good for my nails, but is a no-no!). So, today I tried again, having the same issues!! I hated everything I tried! I decided to test out a couple of polishes. White! For me, white polish never seems to cooperate! It's always either too thin or way too thick and it is CRAZY-streaky! Does everyone have that polish problem?! Today I used Avon Nailwear Pro #N603 French Tip White AND N.Y.C. Long Wearing Nail Enamel #134 French Tip White. I wasn't happy with the results of either of these polishes, however, there were some pros and cons to each. Avon took fewer coats ( I used 3) to get to a more opaque finish, but it took a lot longer to dry. N.Y.C. took about 6 coats, but dried rather quickly. So which one to use? If I were using it as a base that you could see at the end, I'd pick Avon. If I were to cover it up (with a neon shade, perhaps) I'd choose N.Y.C. I'm going to do some research to find a good quality, fast drying, white polish. Any suggestions? I took pics of both, to compare.

This is 3 coats of each. N.Y.C. is to the right, Avon to the left.
So, after all of this, my Zoey and I finally decided on some neon colors. Actually, she chose the colors, I just did what she asked. Now, we have matching nails! (Pictures later!) ~H~
